Question Need help, what does this log mean?

When checking my router logs I noticed the following connection to one of my son's ip addresses:

[LAN access from remote] from 24.183.210.18:53558 to 192.168.1.30:61630 Friday, Jul 31,2009 08:54:59

He gets several of these a day from different ip addresses and I am not sure what transpiring.
    1. What is going on? Is this something with an online game or im?
    2. Is this something to be concerned about?
    3. What are the numbers following the colun?

Thanks for any input! Have a Great Day!

"3. What are the numbers following the colun?"
    Port number.

Need to add the fact he could be sharing music or the like.

    Concerned, I would be.

What do I need to look for on his computer to see if he is sharing music?

I know he has downloaded several songs for "free" and he used to use Frostwire until I blocked it along with Limewire at our router but it did not stop connections/access.

If he is sharing music can this be a threat to our network?

I just cleaned up a couple computers where people thought they were downloading music but got a virus instead.

took about 3 hours to clean up each computer too.

Angry How do I stop the sharing?

[QUOTE=bruceb;1484305]To your network, no. To the pocketbook, yes, if he is sharing copyrighted material and someone in RIAA finds out about and tracks it back to him.

Is there a good way to block my son from downloading "free Music"? I have been telling him that if he was getting music for free it was illegal. How do I stop the trafic from coming to his pc? Can I change his ip and stop it? (I know I will have to fix him first and block the sites)

My wife buys most all of here music from iTunes and loves it!
