It's morphing again.... the fascination with valuing dynamic instruments continues apace. The li'l guys still don't get it, they are dynamic...... you need constant real-time valuations and an HPC nerd or two. (real time valuation... isyk.) $$$
OR - you value their spread & butter.
VIEW - TOPIC 820 The IASB published the exposure draft Fair Value Measurement in May 2009.
The comment period for the exposure draft ended 28 September 2009. TheIASB has received 156 comment letters as of the posting of this paper. Most respondents to the exposure draft urge the IASB and FASB to have fullyconverged (ie identical) guidance for fair value measurements in IFRSs and USGAAP. They are concerned that using different words in IFRSs and US GAAPmight result in different approaches to fair value measurements, and possibly to different fair value conclusions. Respondents believe that both boards should use this opportunity to create a single high quality standard for fair value measurement guidance.
The train wreck continues.............

Get back in the shed li'l guy, i'm sending in the Engineers - lads who know what they are doing, because they test their stuff, lives depend on them. They really know what they are doing because they have to study consequences.
During deep sleep IT came to me and the future of processing is clear.
Future processors will primarily be digital tuning radios acting as grid computing nodes.
Voila. See ya in hell. PROCESSING

I shall have to find a genius or two, it's not a mystery, that i'm sure - so, if you hide something - is it still there.
Even if it is wobbly? If you forget it, does it go away?
I know. i'll experiment, with .
I'll let you know how it goes.

About 4.6 million people will lose their homes by the end of next year despite foreclosure-prevention efforts, Moody's Economy.com predicts, helping to bring the total carnage of the housing bust to nine million homes lost by the end of 2011.

The entire world has its fingers stuck in dykes trying to hold back the tidal wave of insanity that was released by a man who does not have a clue what he is doing and just keeps rolling along - it is insanity.
Harsh Light on Commercial Real Estate Loans in Fed Survey
Regulators responded to the commercial real estate woes by releasing guidelines last month that,
among other things, help lenders determine how the value of collateral underlying these loans has changed.
At some point - it is just necessary to state that enough is enough.
