    connection pains

i have an old epox ep-9npa+ ultra

i recently cleaned everything out and rebuilt the pc.however, the pain comes from installing windows vista...

now that vista is installed, my network controller cant connect to my router. i even tried to installed my belkin wireless g usb adapter but that didnt work either.

i did make an attempt to check my networking and sharingcenter and noticed that my network discovery and file sharing cant be turned on. when i turn it on and apply, it goes to off.

i also cant detect any wireless internet connections, can anyone help me?

    thanks in advanced

Sounds like you need to start over with the networking setup OR Vista does not include device drivers for the network cards you used.

Did you check if the hardware is compatible with Vista?

Have you checked the manufacturers website for Vista drivers yet?

Please list the model numbers of the hardware you have.

Then I would recommend buying a new network card that is listed as Vista compatible.
