Thats a lot of cake.

A Slovenian TV program that tried to prove top models were brainless bimbos was scrapped after a beauty queen turned out to have a higher IQ than a nuclear physicist. Iris Mulej, a former Miss Universe contestant, was found to have an IQ of 156 by scientists working for the program makers. She had to take a series of logic tests looking at spatial awareness, mathematical equations and problem solving ability.

The test result forced Slovenia TV, the state broadcaster, to cancel its program involving the model who left school at 16 to pursue a modelling career.
A spokesman for Bronz Model Management that represents Iris, 22, said: "They couldn't really do a program making fun of dumb models when she turned out to be smarter than anyone else on the program.

Not for the faint of heart. C LICKABLE

A case in point being Hedy (lovely name) Lamar who owns, as l have pointed out before 1940's patents for 'spread spectrum' coms although then it was known as 'frequency hopping' which of course has nought to do with frogs. The idea was impractical, ahead of its time, and not feasible due to the state of technology in 1942. It was implemented in 1962, used by U.S. ships to blockade Cuba, after the patent had expired. The patent was little-known until 1997, when the Electronic Frontier Foundation gave Lamarr an award for this contribution.

The "most beautiful woman in Europe" had a thing for torpedo's and her film Ecstasy - Extasis (1933) made in 1933 - was highly controversial in its time largely because of a nude swimming scene. It is also perhaps the first non-pornographic movie to portray sexual intercourse,[2] although never showing more than the actors' faces. It has also been called the first on-screen depiction of a female orgasm. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5tGLyNHzrU&feature=related]C LICKABLE

Hedy Lamarr became one of the most successful actresses of the late '30s and early '40s. In a career that lasted into the late '50s, Lamarr acted in more than 25 films with the likes of Clark Gable, James Stewart, Spencer Tracy and Judy Garland.

Lamarr enjoyed her biggest box-office success in 1949 with Samson & Delilah, her favorite and first color film, produced by Cecil B. DeMille.

In 1998, a vector illustration of Lamarr's face was used by Corel Corporation on the packaging and in the publicity for its CorelDRAW 8 software. Lamarr retained Attorney Michael McDonnell and sued Corel for damages relating to unauthorized use of her likeness. The case was resolved in 1999 and settled out of court for an undisclosed sum, under terms that allowed Corel five years of exclusive rights to the image.

In 2003, the Boeing corporation ran a series of recruitment ads featuring Hedy Lamarr as a woman of science.
In 2005, the first Inventor's Day in German-speaking countries was held in her honor on November 9, on what would have been her 92nd birthday.

Her name continues to have a high degree of recognition. The persona she created - the sensuous, dark-haired beauty - has exerted a significant and lasting influence on the cinema and popular culture. It is her contribution to science and technology that have had the most important and lasting impression, though little known outside the scientific community.

Then of course there's Garbo. and Mila......... and....
