    Mozilla Thunderbird???

I don't use Mozilla Thunderbird but one of my acquaintances does. I know nothing about it. Simply put, the first message in the Inbox superimposes itself on every other message thereafter. Every other line looks like a jumbled mess. Any ideas??

The inbox seems to be corrupted; try deleting the inbox.msf file in the profile folder. It will be recreated when you restart. Don't delete the inbox itself.

Tried but no luck. The send items is also overlayed. What is the advantage of Thunderbird? Should I just get rid of it?

It's not better than Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail. I use Live Mail now and it's dandy.

Rather than teach them Live mail, I reverted back to Outlook Express and all ran well.

The oddity is before reverting, I un-installed Thunderbird, deleted all TB files, reloaded Thunderbird and downloaded new e-mails into a new inbox. They also overlayed. I decided at that time to go to OE.

    Thanks for the advice.

are you using the latest version?

    did you try another skin?

    some skin causes horrible visions

but if you are having that problem with the default skin, then it's as they said, it could be a corrupted inbox, which is extremely rare

from all the mailprograms i used TB cost me most of my nerves. they are unable to create a simple program which can accept the password..... the bat-creators ar unable tu understand that we need a simple signature-option not vcard.
