While we w0s away kitty had a accident :-0

Yeah ...... Just about 10 days ago .... Kitty came limping home with a mishaped back leg & a cut foot

A highspeed trip to the vets ensued & a bit of a wait as we got there before the vet did twas a sunday afternoon .......... Anyways kitty was knocked out immediately & her back leg was just outta its joint ...... anyways Mr Vet poped it back in & glued up her cuts .....

Mr Vet says she got caught up in a wire fence & then after getting herself outta that she landed on summink sharp

Anyways kitty is fine now.... She was on pain killers & antibiotics & summink else but now shes fine.... a bit bald in places where Mr Vet sheved her fur off ..... But other than that fine .........

The Local school has recently had a new wire fence installed (Bout 10 feet high) so I have dug some kitty channels under it reinfocing matters by using roofers ridge tile ..... I then sent the vets bill to the education department, foned the RSPCA & wrote a article for the local evening paper.... Lets see what occurs ......

Yet another reason my kitties are house bound. That and having one become a road pie.

    Glad she's OK though

I guess this means you're back...

I'm surprised the National Health won't cover your vet's bill, what with the taxes you pay and all.
Thank God we're not getting all of the government we're paying for!

Good luck. If it's the Only fence for miles and miles or you have a witness.....

Around here, we have what they call a "leash law." Which means cats n dogs can't go roaming around by themselves or other wise, owner gets a ticket...

Around here (NJ) there are no rules regarding a cat on a leash or only being kept indoors. But they must have a license tag issued by the town. If something happens to the cat while it is out on it's own, that is the cat's problem, not someone elses. So in my view, you have about a 0% chance of getting the people / business who put up the fence to pay your cat's vet bill.
