Horrible release. They put in a new mail format that changes the way
the .dat files are from the older version. There are also changes to the
way it does file downloads. And they changed the cookie format so at
present Spybot 1.5.2.20 can not do an immunize properly on Opera.
I had to uninstall it to go back to 9.27 ... fortunately all I lost were my email
account settings. In V9.50 I was not even able to customize the toolbars,
such as adding or removing or moving buttons. This is a bad version, in
    my view.

I really like this browser. It would be my favorite if it handled scrolling through tabs better. Maxthon is hard to beat in this area.

I do believe i will change my browser settings to have this as default. Unbelievable!

MK.., do you use this now mostly as your default or other?

I do have it installed again .. a bit better, now that Spybot SD is fully
compatible with it. But I don't have it set as default, mainly because
while it has an Ad Blocker, it is by far, the most difficult ad blocker
    to use.

TBH, I will probably always use all three main browsers.. ( IE, FF 3.0 and Opera ), and i agree that the menus and tabbing are a little too basic for me... Nice enough job though.

Having real problems importing my hotmail account. No reason to do so anyway. I use windows 'Livemail' for that. When i run the process as outlined, i am told i need to create a new account, but there is nothing there in the whole 'Opera' framework i can see to do that. It gets to the final menu screen and the 'next' is blanked out. Any ideas there?

I guess for simple internet use and some other it is great just because its so darn fast. Instantaneously.

No.. i will not change my browser settings. That is a bit rash i believe.

I use FF3 as my main browser. The speeds for FF3 and Opera are pretty close. FF3 is way more customizable.

I normally don't change avatars often. Give this one a look.
Not quite as good quality, but the site limits us to 11K

Yowsa..yowsa..baby. Now thats waht i'm talking about.

I agree MK. FF3 is a bit beter overall in all aspects. Although IE has gotten somewhat better over the years with thier updates, the latest IE7 updated is still quirky at times. It opens slower then the others, and i have had some issues with it from time to time. Geeze.. if they put any more security updates in that thing, i do believe it might slow to a complete stop someday.
