IE7 and typing craziness when on forums.

Hi, I have a dell xps 630i "New" system with win XP Pro with Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.13.
All security patches installed. Now to the problem. I have been experiencing problems when typing on forums. Most of the time all will go well but all at once the keyboard responds like I hit the Alt key and I have to stop typing and put the cursor back behind the last word typed to continue. Anyone else experience this?
I don't think I am hitting the Alt key by mistake. Every time i double check my hand placement on the keyboard..

Have you tried updating the driver for the keyboard?

What version BIOS do you have?

Had 1.0.2 but just flashed 1.0.4
No keyboard update was listed for my system. I'll have to check
