Looking to build a new computer
My old P4 just isn't cutting it anymore. I have a budget between 1000 and 1500$, and I mainly run Photoshop and games. Photoshop is for my job, so it needs to run blazingly fast, so I opted to buy 2 extra drives to put in RAID so the scratch disk can be on there. Could also put game installs on there so they load crazy fast.
Unfortunately I am in Canada where computer prices are so much more expensive, so here is the run down list, if someone could just confirm to me everything goes together and if you can make suggestions on what could be replaced with something else for cheaper/better, that would be much appreciated!

Use a copper HSF instead of aluminum for better heat absorption and dispersal, and use ArcticSilver thermal paste instead of the gel stuff - it's a better heat transfer medium. Ultra is TigerDirect's private-label hardware, so I don't know how good that PSU actually is. If you can get some unbiased opinions on it before buying it, do so. OCZ, Thermaltake, XION and Tagan are good PSU brands. Antec used to be, but had problems recently; and some people I know swear by RaidMax.
All things considered, that's a nice collection of parts. Should make quite a nice machine. I know Newegg doesn't ship to Canada, but have you tried MWave.com? Their prices are very similar.
Thank God we're not getting all of the government we're paying for!

Mwave doesn't ship to Canada either =(
As for Ultra, I have external hard drive enclosures made by them and I'm really satisfied, but power supplies are a bit more complicated that's for sure. I could also use a forwarding service if prices were really worth it.
Thanks for the heads up about artic silver and copper base, didn't know that.
