    TV Software

    Does anyone know any software for Windows Vista that would allow me to use my ATI TV Wonder 550 to watch TV, I do not want to use media center, etc I just want a simple application, it does not have to support time shifting or anything like that.

    What TV software did you get with the TV tuner card?

    Check if there is an upgrade available for Vista.

    What is wrong with Media Center?

    Unfortunatly it only came with drivers, media center works great but it would be nice just to open a small piece of software not media center style software. I liked the WinTV software and the ATI Catalyst TV software, the only thing is ATI stopped developing it.

    Did you get the Catalyst disk with the card? It comes with the ATI media center but sometimes does not install automatically. On the disk go to Install>CMC>CMC>PCinema and run setup.

    actually try ChrisTV is pretty dang good, and it works in VISTA too
