running C:\ to open an explorer window, but 1 problem

Hey sysopt. Got a question: what's up with running "C:\" in XP? that's a quick way to open an IE/win explorer window but if I already have one open and pointed to c:\ then it just focuses that window. my fast paced computing is slowed as a result. can someone help? gracias!

Try using the Windows Key + E to open Windows Explorer. It should open as many sessions as you'd like . I can't see why you would want more than one session open at a time .
