Sli and Psu's
So i recently got some new parts, an Intel Core 2 Duo E6750, a MSI P6N Sli platinum mobo, and 2 gbs of Patriot extreme performance ram. I decided to run it all on my old 400w psu, which i figured would be fine(but sorta of iffy due to the dual core proc), but my firend decided to give me his old 7900gt(i already had one previously) because he just bought a 8800gts. And since i have 2 now i wanna go sli but i know a 400w psu isn't gonna cut it so i was looking at some psu's on newegg. I was thinking about the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817171025 but i really dont know, my limit is about 50(with the rebate) so any suggestions?

Wait until you can afford a quality PSU of at least 600W. That'll give you enough power for both cards (350-400W), the rest of the system and some reserve.
You gotta get real here - you've got some decent components, why risk ruining them all by using a wimpy PSU? Plan on spending $100 or so, and treat yourself. Your system will last longer.
Thank God we're not getting all of the government we're paying for!

600-watts for sure. If you can spend more, make it future proof and get a nice 700-800 watt PSU.

Good PSU. Reviews look solid.
Let us know how it goes.
