Voodoo 3 2000 question. How do I do this???
Hi. I just purchased a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI based video card. I have a HP 6350 computer. I know in order to install this card, I must first disable the onboard video card on my HP. My question is...should I spend the money and have someone else install this for me, or try to go it alone? Are there any tips anyone can give me? I read the reviews on the Sysopt. review board, and all I read is how everyone is overclocking it. I have absolutely no idea how to do that, I hope the card works well without overclocking. I'm not going to run too many graphic intense games on my computer, just mostly graphic applications such as Paint Shop Pro, etc. Any suggestions or tips on how to install this card? Thanks so much for taking the time to read this post.

If you have any doubts about installing it yourself you should probably have some do it for you. They would install, and get it properly setup.

voodoo 3 2000 is not difficult to setup
but yes you definetely have to disable the onboard gfx
once this is done all it takes is plugging it in and running the software disk
it will install the drivers then the gfx software automatically
its easy
just beware and take the necessary static precautions
its a good card.
the pc manual should tell you exactly how to disable the onboard graphix
good luck
