Prompting in web browser to download active x
This is making me wonder whats wrong. I have all of my security settings set to prompt before downloading an active x file. What I am wondering is what setting in security do you choose to get ie7 to prompt for active x? I just did completly reinstall windows xp from scratch because of a virus. And know my laptop runs like new. It was prompting me to doenload active x files but I did set security in tools exc. myself, but I have it checked to prompt before downloading an active x file. Anyone know what I may have set wrong??
Thank's, John

Just wanted to say that there is no problem with ie7 prompting to download an active x file. I was testing it on the wrong type of file.
