Any emails from any website that ask for password changes should ALWAYS be ignored.

The e-mail came from Sysopt and my password was set to a temporary one 5 times.

Did you try logging in with the new passwords?

It still sounds like a phishing scheme to me.

I had to log in with the new temp password, it was the only way i could log back in. The old password would not work. Also I was already logged into Sysopt when it happened.

No, still using my old e-mail address.

Nope.....I guess it was someone playing around or mistaken. But I just wanted to make note of it here in the forums in case it was happening to anyone else.

I reported it...Not sure what can be done....Guessing you've been in and set a new unique password to make certain no one else can get into your profile.

This is nothing to worry about. The way this forum is setup, anyone can request a password reset for any user whose username they know, however passwords are not reset until the link in the email is clicked, and that email will only go to the email in the user's account, meaning no one else can click it but you. If you don't click it, nothing changes so I would just ignore them. It could even be a bot crawling the site
