    XP repair install problem.

My PC had some problem startup, so i did a repair install usin XP cd , the process is fine until it reaches the section where the setupis, when it tries to install devices , it just reboot itself. This auto reboot happens when it tries to install devices.

Now I am stuck at the screen, unable to use XP.

    Any help please?

Press F8 to get the boot menu and select Safe Mode. Go to System Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery and disable automatic reboot on errors. When you get the blue screen dump, write it down and search Google for the error.

I tried your method, upon reaching into the menu, a window pop up and stated that Windows XP cannot run under safemode and need to be restarted.
