    API error

I am trying to help my cousin out who is on the left coast. I recently visited him and installed some programs to keep his machine safe and deleted a bunch of preinstalled nonsense. He called me last night to tell me of this problem he is having when trying to print a certificate from an online training site. He gets this error...."error finding api too deeply nested". He is not tech savvy and I haven't ever seen an api error. I googled it but didn't really come up with much. This is an HP with XP MCE 2GHz 512mb and he is using IE. Anybody out there got a clue as to what I should tell him? TIA

It is not the computers problem....It is the web site.
