dell inspiron 9100 having issues after reformat

I've been trying to troubleshoot an Inspiron 9100. It was just reformatted. The chipset drivers on the dell cd conflict with the drivers for the video card. XP SP2 installation causes a blue screen. The wireless network card won't detect any wireless networks.

Any insight into what might be causing these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check for chipset drivers at Dell support.

Probably more up to date than the ones on the cd.

Sounds to me like you have all the wrong drivers.

Check the model number again from the Dell website. Use the service tag number to find the exact match for the drivers you need. The CD you have may not be for your model.
