    alternative to active directory that runs on win xp

    dose anyone know about any free alternative to active directory that runs on win XP.

    Do a Google search for the Windows version of OpenLDAP, it may fit your needs.

    tried both http://www.osalt.com/active-directory which i reached trying Apache AD, and OpenLDAP.
    but both are quite complicated, Apache is based on SPring Java Framework and OpenLDAP dose not have any documentation.

    Anything more user friendly and GUI based?
