I am doing an overhaul, comments/suggestions?
I am going to upgrade my computer. So I went on radioshack (I'm 16, and my parents don't have credit cards, so I use gift cards) and looked for a new motherboard, more ram, and a new cpu. For now, everything else I have (w/ the exception of my psu, which may be 100w short) is adequate.
Here is what I am saving for, which won't take too long.

w/o shipping, this should be about $250. I plan to order this stuff as I can afford it, since I can use that ram on my computer before I build the rest, and I'd like to get the stuff as fast as possible to avoid radioshack taking it out of stock (which happens very little of the time).
I just ordered a new 400w power supply to replace my bad one (currently on life support and sitting upside down on a mug outside the case, while running).
What do you guys think? That mobo can support up to 4gb of ram, but I doubt I'll ever need that much.

Unfortunately, those links all lead to the main page. You will have to try another method of linking us to them.

The links aren't complete links. He must've copied-pasted the post from his other site to here, therefore posting the already parsed and shortened links here(when you open the link, in the address bar see the "..." near the mid-end of the address). So sadly, whilst the world still turns, while the sun still shines, while the donuts still taste great, your links just don't work.

All that is fine. Nice stuff.
Skip the Opteron CPU though. Get a dual-core Athlon 64. The Opteron is good, but single core.

Oops! It's dual core. Snatch it up!

Jakk says he has that thing (discussing this on another forum, too) and that the 1 in the 142 means that it is single-core, but it says on the site that it is dual-core. I'm kinda confused with that.
But he also said it is good with OC'ing, which I don't plan to do right off, but is a plus. I couldn't avoid getting the opteron, it is the only available 939, and I don't fancy Intels.
