Flip 3D in Vista

Anyone know a way to disable or speed up the Flip 3D Alt-Tabbing in Windows Vista? Whenever I tab out from a game it takes forever to go back to the desktop because of this, and in Windows XP it was always instant.

Hey jedi! Long time no see!

When I use windows vista and I press alt+tab it doesn't come up with the flip 3d. Flip 3d is usually activated with the windows button + tab.

The alt+tab usually comes up with the bog standard swtich between programs thingy in the middle of the screen.

Yeah, that's what I mean though, when I alt-tab it locks up. There's got to be some graphical option I can disable to speed that up though, anyone know?
