    Trouble Getting Max Resolution

I moved my dell widescreen monitor to cheaper pc today and I can’t seem to set the maximum of 1680x1050. The pc uses SIS 651 integrated graphics and I thought that was the problem but after googling it, I found that SIS 651 can get to 1680x1050 and told downloading the newest drivers would fix the issue.

I downloaded this http://www.sis.com/download/download_step1.php driver. Yet it still doesn’t work.

If anyone has any ideas on how to get it to work that would be great.

Did you just install the latest over the older set, or did you use drivecleaner or similar to wipe off the old drivers before installing the newest?

You must also load the Dell drivers for the display.
