    Win 98 drivers

Silly question maybe. Does anyone write Win98 drivers for newer printers for fun or profit? [/FONT]

    That was pretty silly.

Win98 is a non-supported OS. Why do you keep trying to keep it alive?

    Upgrade to Win2K at least.

...my dad still piddles with machine language and plays with his old analog computer with a helicopter flight sim on it to keep his sanity....it could happen.

The odds of finding someone who still writes device drivers for Win98 and has access to the specific details required with todays new hardware is somewhere between slim and none.

Your best bet is to learn how to write your own device drivers, then you have a two products you can sell (both the device drivers and your programming knowledge).

Umm..., if you speak of the first win98, then you are DEFINATELY out of luck. Besides, win98 was the buggiest of the Windows O/S's. You probably should just go to a Wal-Mart (assuming this coming from the US) and buy XP fo $100.

Probably be the best money you spend.

Maybe you should state how much you are willing to pay and see if anyone bites?
