    clicking

Ok every one in a while when my computer is on (mostly on the internet) I hear a clicking sound coming from inside the computer. It will do it about every minute or so and it will click about 2 or 3 times. I have never heard this before my computer is only about 3 months old.

It's the hard drive's head parking - perfectly normal.

Why did you let those viruses on in the first place? Are you one of those users who only runs his AV program when you "need it"?

It is SBC Yahoo online protection in order for it to detect a virus you have to do a scan. I havent downloaded anything recently and havent opened any attachments in emails so I dont know how I got the virus

You need full-time protection. There are 3 free AV programs.

    AVG (Grisoft)
    AntiVir (Avira)
    Avast

I recommend AntiVir. Search Google for it.

I downloaded, installed, and ran avast and it said that the number of infected files was 0 so hopefully it got rid of it.

Don't forget to *register* Avast. It's free, but you must register.

The other two don't require registration. That's why I didn't recommend Avast.

I tried the other two but one of them said to select a drive and it had no choices to select from so I tried the other one and it asked to type in a license key but I do not know what the license key is, so finnaly I installed avast and it worked.

You have to click the "About" menu selection and then click on a link to register. Feel free to explore the menus - it's *your* program.
