New call of Juarez Trailers
http://www.gametrailers.com/player.p...pe=wmv&pl=game
Out at the beginning of next month, although i didnt liek the "Indian" mission in the Demo, i'll probably pick it up, simply because the world has been crying out for a decent Western FPS ever since "Wanted" many many moons ago

Hooya!
Jak.. whats up with you..?? When i wrote my take on this game you responded alot more negatively and aid it was a resource hog. I liked it... it defitely has alot of potential... Systems out today could handle this like dust in the wind... depending of course upon the ingame engine....
If i had money to spare ..i'd pick it up for nothing more thn something different and out of the ordinary... Maybe you were having a bad hair day..LOL really

The resource hog comment was prior to getting a chance to play it myself.
My concern with it, on the basis of the demo, is what the final quality of the release will be like. The game is a resource hog, even on a lot of top end systems (although my system skipped along quite happily)and in all honesty it shouldnt be, With the demo being released relatively close to release date, all the suggestions point to a sloppily coded piece of work.
The levels that were picked for the demo we're pretty poor in all fairness. The gunslinger level was remeniscent of Virtua Cop 2 - feeling like a "Rails" shooter more than anything, while the "Indian" level just annoyed me. However, the Western genre is so sparesly covered in gaming, particularly FPS, i'll probably still take a look at it in some form, see if theres somethign there to compete with Red Dead Revolver (again, a pretty average game on the whole, but elevated beyond its level by the fact its one of only a handful of Western based games)
