I agree. Videogaming gets enough stick as it is, fanning the flames just for the sake of it is retarded.

If children of today were brought up correctly, with manners and values, It wouldn't matter what games are released, because they are just fantasy.
I played games like double dragon, tekken, street fighter etc, and these didn't lead me to go round beating people up for fun.
That was left to the computer screen.
Any thoughts?

And they will blame the game just like always but a game like this is just asking for trouble. Games like this glorifies bullying in the schools weather or not a kid plays this game or not, this stuff happens to kids in schools all the time, this is the only reason why I don’t like it when kids are involved it’s a different story. I for one do not blame games I blame parents for not watching what the kids play. I tell you this now as a parent they will get there hands on it either from a friend or from some idiot at bestbuy or blockbusters just like some kids end up smoking you do every thing in your power to protect them yet that isn’t enough, not in this world.
My kids have not played any games like this or like GTA because they know well what Pops will do.

I remember a game on the commadore 64 -- School Dayz
This was all about violence and vandalism in school, about 18 yeard old now I think the game is.
(woah, ! cue the Yoda like sentence)

Doesnt sound particularly violent to me - well, not compared to my actual real school days.
It's just usual Rockstar PR policy, narking the life out of the easily offended makes for good publicity. Just like Manhunt, its one of the worst games i've ever played, but it sold by the boatloard simply because of the fact it was a "Mass-Murder Simulator"
