    Zalman 7000b u on Socket Am2 Possible?

I just got my am2 dual core with Msi K9N sli Platium but my Zalman 7000b cu does fit on that and the 939/940 socket technique propoise does seem to work for Am2 socket. the board dont seem to have holes at the right place to use that technique

    Any ideal guys??

Is a other zalman or a other good am2 socket heatsink?

    THK

The AM2 socket mount is completely different. there are no AM2 adapter for that heatsink yet.

you'd have to buy a new heatsink or make your own bracket.

Hey Midknyte, they also have the CNPS8000, which we tested recently, that uses clips, which are the same for both AM2 and 939. It performs well. Check it out at http://www.sysopt.com/features/coolq...le.php/3616896
