I've got your hard drive
Careful with that warranty replacement...
"one year ago, Hang Gerbus had his hard drive replaced at a Best Buy store in Cincinnati. Six months ago, he received one of the most disturbing phone calls of his life.
"Mr. Gerbus," gerbus recalls a stranger named Ed telling him. "I just bought your hard drive in Chicago."
That figures that this kind of thing would start happening.
Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA - retail is retail and these kids are only human but you should bring that e-mail in to the store.
You really should have told them you wanted a new drive, used your old one to get what you needed - it must have been accessible if your data was still on it - then brought the bad one back for a credit - or at least wiped it clean
man - what a story.....
