PowerNIC ethernet card trouble
I have model CN40BC PowerNIC ethernet card and am having trouble. One day I used it in the morning and everything worked. Then later that day I started my computer and it told me there was a conflict with my IP address and it was disableing my ethernet card. I called the school help desk and they told me to go
to winipcfg, release the information and renew it. when I do that it says it is
unable to reach the DHCP server. The school says it is probably my ethernet card.
Everything else is setup properly. Is there any way to check my ethernet card or
anything, I don't have any other ones to try or any other laptops to try it in. I'm running win 95 if it matters.

Please do not multiple post in different forums. This causes confusion for those responding and hard to follow what's already been suggested. Easier on you too. Thanks for your support!
