ECC Ram?
My sister-inlaw's computer wants more ram. Her MOBO supports ECC sdram. ECC is currently almost twice cheaper than non ECC. It is to my understanding that the ECC ram is slower and really only needed for servers. For about the same amount of money I can buy 2 stix of 128mb sdram non ECC, or two stix of 256mb ECC sdram. She's running WIN 2000. Which is the better choice?
It's a family computer, 3D games, internet, and word programs.
