Hooya!
Passwords....Are we in a new age of what??
I had to get this off my chest...so here goes..
I know we all have been using passwords ever since we had our first computer and connected on the world wide web... but it seems to me anyways....looking back at all the places i signed up to use thier site or whereever we go... the encryption rules and how we do it and the hassle...( my opinion lately )..of reseting...not having it work and going through the loops osmetimes of just getting to log on somewhere is becoming more and more confusing and time consuming...
Its great they are worried for sake....and in alot of cases its more the case of thier sake...but for me...anyways i am not that paranoid that someone is listening or has access as they do anyways...and can if they want to nowadays
Some of you and its my guess quite alarge portion of the user web need as much protection for purposes of business or whatever they have on thier system or???, but now some popular site have been so abused by whomever that the rest of us have to spend alot of extra hassle just registering... and in alot of cases your normal everyday email is or won't bew accepted for reasons above.
I just signed up for apopoular forum and they will not accept hotmail...or Yahoo..and i guess if thats all some of you got then ..i guess that means that you have to get another email acct. to remain kosher with the admin.
Personally i don't spend the time hacking into others affairs ..nor do i care to do so..simply because that is not the way i am... upbringing?? Yes Most of us have too much of our own things to do without wasting the time hacking into others domains... I guess i am a prude right??
Some of these thoughts were also brought on by a bad experience just trying to re-install my virus software form Comcast. That ws a total nightmare... Without going into details.. i finally had to call the antivirus/security company on the phone to get it all strightened out. Took me hurs and hours...
If it ws so straighforward and worked..then why was it i had to spend that much time figuring it out..and getting it to work...?? protection?? maybe so.. but that just made me almost mad enough to switch to another company for services.( of which i told them that ) In the end they were very very nice and all worked out..but the point remains... LOL
