    That's odd, that's around what my GTS 250 got with my Athlon x3 435 Rana, except you scored like 500 higher.

    The 435 Rana I thought was a decent chip too... interested to see what this build does now. I don't think your chip is too shabby either. Maybe 3dmark is retarded.

    I'll let you know what mine does, maybe it IS just an issue with 3dmark06 and newer drivers, after all, it is 2010.. Though that wouldn't make a lot of sense.

    It's either an issue with 3Dmark or my system specs are holding it back in the benchmark.

    The games play fine though, 2 x faster than the 3870 did.

    3Dmark isn't really important to me.

    Higher than I thought... that makes me feel a bit better about spending the money to even build this new PC lol.

    Bumped up the bus speed to 220 (CPU now at 3.52ghz) got 19,003, but the CPU hit 57 degrees celsius.

    Not sure why the temps are so high, stock speeds it idles at like 41-44c. The Athlon II 435 Rana I had idled at like 29c... I know the CPU is more beastly, but seems a little too high for temps..
