Problem with my new LCD 19" white glow?

Seasons greetings.

Just received a new LCD 19" Samsung 930B for XMAS.

I notice when i have a black screen showing (black screen / black desktop),
I have a faint White glow creeping down from the top portion of the screen.

It isn't very big, comes down maybe half an inch and isn't uniform all the way across the top.

Should i be concerned? Return the screen for a replacment? Is this normal?

Backlight bleeding is common . I own 3 LCD monitors , the Samsung 940b has the most bleeding . I think most people can ignore it or not notice it because your not viewing a total black screen normally. If its really bad I would return it. Some fixes I've heard of are 1) lay the monitor flat , screen side down , for a day or two . 2) Using a soft cloth or paper towel , press firmly in the area of bleeding and wipe towards the center of the screen .
