Help with NT and dvd and scsi and modem

Ok, gotta quick question then i gotta fly a couple miles (MA to las vegas). When i try to install the creative dvd drivers the service encordDRV which is the drivers fails at startup -

The description for Event ID ( 24 ) in Source ( EncorDev ) could not be found. It contains the following insertion string(s): , EncorDev, .Translated.

Then it fails again like this -

So i uninstall scsi just to see what it's like and then i get this -

The device could not allocate one or more required resources due to conflicts with other devices. The device interrupt setting of '10' could not be satisified due to a conflict with Driver 'EncorDev'.

second one -
The driver could not find a modem board on the PCI bus for this system


Tada! Is this an irq conflict in winnt? It worked fine in 98, i switched because i got another PII 450..

Yes though you are having an IRQ conflict, with time and playing around, you'll be able to get her in.
Check if you can manually assign the irqs.

Im staying in the friggin penthouse man at mgm, i got pics from my digital cam if you wanna see what the afterlife looks like.. . It's got it's own elevator in the room for going up and down the floors. Rodney Dangerfield is staying on my floor, the 29th and they got a big *** tv for watchin my dvd's on.. I love it!! Even tho im 14.. hehehe. Ok, yes, i didn't have this problem before tho with windows 98, does windows 98 do some stuff that windows nt don't? What do you reccomend for my configuration -

ok, will i have to reinstall drivers and shiat like that? I bet I will, maximum stress, minimum glory..
