Foxconn and Dell? Is that a ringing endorsement? Next you'll be saying get a ECS K1 SLI! (I did read that review). I bought after searching fo a NF3 ultra solution and other than online, none to be found (There you had a choice of EPoX or EPoX most places) I wanted 939, Gigabit, and AGP. ULI's do not have Gigabit (at least not 1689's and 1695's) I am staying clear of VIA so that left NF3 Ultra. Scarce!
So I hit on the integrated solution and bought that. I bought it on the spur of the moment, but recalled the many things I had heard in the forums about Asus in general, and a few on this board. I don't think reading the review originally out, about the Foxconn 6150 would have swung me toward it In the store the pitch was "Foxconn is a good solid board, a little cheaper...You know Asus has more features..." Short story long I now have two ASUS boards, how many Foxconns did you buy?

I build my midrange PCs with Foxconn boards. I love their BIOS features. They are every bit as good as Asus midrange boards. Unlike Biostar and other budget manufacturers, their products work.

ASUS makes great mobos. So far I had only about 10 mobo returns/replacements for the last 3 yrs.

I do have issues with ECS, its not that durable.. In fact its the brand with most returns/replacements for this year.

These gigabyte boards are the top sellers now. And so far no replacements, for more than a year now, since I carried thier brand..

I was really looking for this board when I found the ASUS. I could find the NSC version, but not the NF3 Ultra version. This Pro board had the features I wanted.

I expect this one and it's "Big" brother to sell well due to the integrated wireles.

I've had fewer problems with Foxconn than Asus boards. On the other hand, some Asus boards do offer more features.

I Never had an ASUS till a week or so ago I have had good luck with the cheapie DFI NFII, same with MSI, Gigabyte was my first, I have two EPox, Three ABIT and now two ASUS. I am going to steer away from VIA based boards for a while (I do have a VIA EPIA board that was / is very solid but not a powerhouse. I broke the Gigabyte with a mistake on my part. I just gave the MSI machine away this Chrismas to someone who really needed it. I did RMA one of the EPoX but it is running now. all the rest are chugging along

Hey, I never said any of the problems I've ever had with Asus boards were severe. In fact they were all minor annoyances. I just refuse to tolerate any obvious shortcommings in expensive products, no matter how small.
