    Would like to post my component list for any suggestions on compatibilty.It will NOT be used for gaming.Thanks

    As long as the motherboard has the same port as the video card, it will be fine.

    Oh - and the RAM should be at least PC3200.

    Looks pretty good to me as well. Not sure why you want XP Pro, though. You could save a few bucks just going with home.

    I didn't bother with a floppy drive on my new set up. Well I did stick one in on setting the system up but I didn't actual use it.

    I am getting a floppy just because I have so many of them and you never know when you might need to boot something from one.Besides for $8.. what the heck.

    Ye I did that once, few days later, I needed a floppy, I install them, most of my customers still need em.


    looks like a nice system set up, id go with what Bill said up your memory to PC3200.

    It shows that it is the Corsair Value select 1Gb (2x512Mb) (pc3200) so I am assuming that is what you are telling me I should get.

    Have read a lot of posts about the stability being better with the XP Pro vs. home edition.
