    can't upload '500 syntax' error

    I am using dreamweaver and am having trouble uploading my sites or updating. I connect, but then receive '500 syntax' error. or 'waiting for server'.

    Directnic says all is good on their end. My passwords and addresses are all correct. Does anyone have any ideas???

    For once I figured something out on my own. I had to enable passive FTP and all is fine.??? h
