    Burning DVDs

I just bought an Iomega DVD Burner and when I went to burn a copyrighted movie it would not let me. There was a message that said error reading table of contents drive D. When I contacted Iomega they would not help me because I was trying to burn copyrighted material. Does anyone know how I can overide the software and burn a copyrighted movie?
