    Case recommend?

I've been using Enlight cases for myself. Now I'm building a computer for someone else. Are there cases you can recommend? I'll be using Intel Pentium 4. I'll be doing no gaming and will be running only a DVD RW.

Cases really are not as impoortant as the PSU. Here is a nice budget case with a quality 400W PSU...

    Good luck!

I have two Antec 1650's and a Antec Sonata and a Antec P-160. I think they are all solidly engineered and wired. The 350W PSU in the 1650 case is very good.

I have an old but solid In-Win case, a Lian Li (The best, but pricey). And I have some unrecommended generic cases. as stated in the above post, The PSU is most important, but it is hard to beat the Antec 1650 for value. It does not have and removeable HHD cages like the Sonata or P-160, but it does offer easier hook up of front panel USB and switches.

I will throw Antec out there as well. Their cases are excellent quality and priced well too. Plus, you can count on their PSUs....they flat out work.

I had a LAN BOY, and upped the ante to the P160. It is a solid, solid case and very well built.

End of this year, I might buy the P180. That thing is suwheet!

I have used enlight before and loved them. In my most recent build however, I used a Chieftec Dragon. I love this case. I got the one without the window. Plenty of room, easy to remove drive cages and rails, lots of space for fans and good wiring. I got the mid tower as I wanted plenty of room for things. You can find them at Tiger Direct for a decent price too.

Drop this silly "case" idea and build a computer into the underside of a computer desk. That's the only sweet way to go.

I did this and then wrapped the whole thing with double-thick cardboard. Or you could get creative and use the cardboard packaging from the motherboard you're using or something. Do NOT mount the hard drive to the desk, or the whole thing will resonate. I used string to hang the hard drive from the desk.

    Only if you like fabricating

It really depends on what your budget is. The Enlight cases are easy to work with, (as you already know), and their PSUs are dependable. If the sky is the limit, then go for Antec or PC Power & Cooling.
