    Hotmail Picture attachment problems.

Using a friends computer at the mo. Can't attach pics onto my hotmail account for some reason? Other types of file no probs, but not pictures - it keeps coming up with that "Page cannot be displayed screen"

We went onto his email account through Outlook, and he can send them fine? He's on Windows XP. Tried turning firewalls off made no difference.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Cheers.

Hmm dont think its your comp, could be the hotmail server (depending on which one your signed up to)
Also are they just JPEGS or GIFS ect, if not check the format type.

One thing to try is simply zip up a pic and then try and send it.

I have experinced many times this page when trying to upload a few files more than about 2mb in size, it just dont seem to like it

For the love of GOD why wont this work?

Just normal picture (jpeg), and I resized it, so it's only about 120kb. Don't understand it - really annoying.

As Hola Hoop suggested, try using WinZip to package the file before attaching it.

Just tried sending a zipped Jpeg. Didn't work I'm afraid. Now refusing to send any attachments at all. Weird.

Yes. Regulary use Spybot S & D, and Adaware.

    Any more ideas anyone?

It's really starting to bug me now. Just moved overseas, and want to send some pics back to my friends/family.

    Cheers.
