Shipping processor.
How should I go about shipping a processor. I don't have its original box or anything. Should I just wrap it in bubble wrap and put it in a box? Thanks!

How are you shipping USPS? FedEx? DON'T use DHL, my experience is that they are slooooowwww as a herd of snails in peanut butter.
BUBBLEWRAP for sure. When you place it in the box , shake it so it doesn't move around inside. You'll be OK....

Doesn't bubble wrap generate static, especially when bounced around in transit?

A local pc shop would probably have those plastic trays for oem chips which you could break one off for yours and immobilize it in a small box of some sort placed in a bit bigger box.

Do you know if the box for my new AMD 3800+ would fit it? I havent ordered my new processor so I can't check myself.
Thanks.

You havnt told us what processor you are trying to package, so we can't tell you if it would fit.

Ship in a "Anti-Static / Static Shield Bags" then you can wrap that up in a bubblewrap or some air plastic holder to ship!

A local pc shop might even have a piece of conductive foam they'll give you. Press the P4 into it and ten bubblewrap. It'll arrive fine so long as the small carton or shipping envelope isn't marked fragile.
