Can ya use an ATA66 HDD on a ATA33 onboard IDE connector?

Will it work? If it does I know it would be running at burst transfer rate of 33.3MB/s. Does it work the other way? (An ATA33 drive on a ATA66 onboard connector like BE6's)

Yes it will work but you might have to disable the UDMA/66 (some mother boards have a problem with UDMA/66 drives). The HD manufacturer should have a program do do it.

As for UDMA/33 on a UDMA/66 bus there have some problems reported when they have a UDMA/66 device on the same channel.
