extra cathodes? mod your cmputer desk!

I happened to have a 12v transformer to a small portable tv laying around and 2 cathodes and an inverter!

All I did was wip out an extra male molex and my iron and wa la a 12v power supply.

I put the cathodes under my desk and now I can see my key board at night and gives an inviting glow.

Nice mod! You know, I've always wanted to do this, but I somehow lost the 5v/12v PSU I nicked out of an old Mac LC. It was great, tiny, and I knew the pinouts (I ran an HDD outside my computer case using the LC PSU). Then one day I went to look for it and it was gone
