Is Boinc Faster then Classic?

Ive been using the older SETI for about 3 years now, off and on, on my single machine and it usualy takes 20+ hrs to run one WU. But with the new BOINC it only takes 3.5 hrs.

Is there any difference in the work units or is the new client more effecient? Plus it doesnt seem to bog down the system 2 much if I run it while I work or play on the computer.

Also if I overclock my processor does this affect credit?? Im planning on OC the thing even a bit more..

my processor so far is 2.4 p4 at 3.0Ghz

I think the units all have different sizes...


and a fast CPU definatly gives quicker results back
