    Plain Case to Cool Case

My first mod done alone! The case was originally white/beige and really ugly in my opinion. So I decided I wanted it black. Then I came across wanting to have a fan in the side so I borrowed my mom's dremel and sloppily cut a hole in the side, totally messing up on one corner forcing me to only be able to mount the fan with 3 screws instead of 4 :-/ . So then I painted it black which I kinda rushed so the front turned out pretty good but some of the covers have splotches on them. The case cover itself turned out horrible, I didnt prime it, sand the surface, nothing. So as the paint kept scratching off, i decided to repaint it.

So I got some sandpaper and a scraper and started scraping that paint off! Took me a good 3 hours to get it all off. I wanted to repaint it but the weather and lack of other places to paint it postponed that. I then took it out to my mom's house (I live with my aunt.) Out there her boyfriend and I decided we'd cut off the side to make a door because its a pain in the **** to do stuff in it now. So after figuring out how to do that I said that I wanted to do a window. So we figured out how we'd do that too. I left my case to him to modify, without my being there! Turned out he did a great job! With no real influence on how you modify cases he did a darn good job! And now my case is black, has a door, and a window. When it was originally white, no door, and no window. Oh and no fan hole either!

It may not be the most impressive case mod in the world, but to me, its awesome and I can wow my friends with it!

    After

I still have to paint the front piece so that the grill doesnt have a white ring around it.

Did some more things to it,
    1. Painted the front grille to match the black to everything else.
    2. Changed the Power and HDD Activity LEDs to blue instead of green and orange.
    3. Stealthed my DVD burner.

Last thing to do is to get an 80mm version of the fan i have on the side to go in the front..
