    K-600 dragon high frequency noise/beep?

I just got a used K-600 Dragon ver.2.0 running really nice (compared to my 900mhz) with a 1.4 GHZ Athlon. and 1gig ddr.
i have a 128MB ATI Video and hercules sound theater.

    The question is:
occasionally I hear a high frequency pitch sound coming from inside somewhere. It only pops up every 5-10 minutes, it does not beep constant.

I dont know if this is a warning or what? I do not have a manual to check it out. Thanks in advance for your input.

You need to find a manual online somewhere.

There is none available for download on the Soyo site.

There are too many components inside to guess. Grab a paper towel tube and use it to isolate the sound by listening with it.

You could also stop by a medical supply building, and pick up a stethoscope.

Remove the round flat end, and make some kind of plastic tube.

Spent years using one trying to isolate squeaks/rattles/noises on cars in auto garages....

    Works like a champ. Careful...though...
Those things magnify sounds like you wont' believe...might want to put cotton in your ear or something to muffle it...

These are pricey...over $100 bucks, but...these are the cat's meow for finding and isolating noises....

You just hook up the clips to various places, and use the "clicker/selector" to isolate it...
