    Windows 98 Startup Menu

    I used the safe mode to correct several problems and know everytime I boot up the black & white startup screen comes up. How do you turn that thing off? Thanks much!

    Goto Start, programs, accessories, system tools, system info.

    Click on Tools at the top, then system configuration utility, advanced.

    Uncheck the box that says enable start up menu. Click OK and restart.
