    Ron Jeremy To Address Oxford Union

    American star Ron Jeremy is to address the prestigious Oxford Union debating society.

    Previous international figures to address the august society include Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan and Mother Theresa.

    Jeremy has starred in some 1,700 films and claims to have slept with more than 4,000 women.

    "Ron is the biggest and apparently the best in the business, so I'm sure he'll have some fascinating stories to tell," said Oxford Union librarian Vladimir Bermant said.

    Jeremy will address the society on Wednesday.

    "As far as I know it is the first star to address the Oxford Union," spokesman Peter Cardwell said.

    "I'm 99 percent sure of that."

    The Oxford Union is considered one of the English-speaking world's most respected debating societies.

    In its 183-year history, it has heard from countless British prime ministers, three US presidents and political figures ranging from the Dalai Lama to Malcolm X.
