Hi,

I recently got a wireless card and router to use with my cable internet connection. Now everything works fine if I'm surfing the net or downloading.

But if I leave the computer idle for a few mins, or go into a full-screen game (pretty much anything not using the wireless card) then the wireless card just stops receiving a signal.

Normally the little icon goes red saying no connection and only connects again after I attempt to do something that uses the wireless card.

I have a Belkin 802.11 card. I'm using Windows XP and I have that Wireless Zero Configuration disabled (since that used to cause a lot of lag). I don't have any power saving settings in the Belkin control panel enabled and yet it keeps dropping out a lot.

Please help me fix this as it gets very annoying getting disconnected everytime I play a game or leave the computer idle.

Thanks,
Michael
