Modifying an Antec SLKBQE2600
I couldn't resist the price of 39.99 after rebate. Once it arrived, I knew this was a budget case to cause me a few headaches. I think the cost cutting design pymgies were out to lunch. The top and one side are riveted on! The drive case does come out BUT if you only want to work on one drive, all drives have to be disconnected and the cage removed. How hard would it be to cut a hole in the riveted on side so that I could reach the screws holding the hard drives? What tools would I need? What could I cover the hole with when I don't need to work on the drives? Any suggestions on how to handle the drive cage so that I don't have to remove all drives to work on one would be helpful.

Why not just remove the rivets and replace them with screws so you can remove the side? Just carefully use a small drill bit and drill out the center of the rivet, not a big deal
